The Chess solution

Chess has a great solution which could be used along with clocks. I may not have the details quite right. But, you will see the idea. The first time a cell phone rings during a game the player forfeits half of the time on their clock. The second time it rings during a game the player forfeits the game.

I think this would be out of place at a local club. I think it would be entirely appropriate at an ABT event.
