Kit won ABT in 2010, Ray won it in 2009 .. and ..

Somehow I got looped into using Ray's name rather than Kit's. It doesn't matter, it was just a way of explaining that you can't qualify twice and if the same person that won the ABT last year is ahead this year at the deadline the spot will go to whomever is in 2nd at the time.

To qualify for the playoffs in any of the upcoming ABT tournaments you have to pay an entry fee beforehand as it says in the brochure that was linked in the original post.

A $20.00 donation to the USBGF gives you the right to compete in the U.S. Online Playoffs by placing higher than other donors in the events that are preceded by the “” symbol. The donation is required for each qualifying event or re-entry. How high one has to place to gain a seat in the Playoffs depends on the number of donors in each event and the total number of players in the event including non-donors as is indicated in the panel to the right.
