Occasionally I'll post after reading the responses of others, always explicitly indicating that in my post. Usually I'll do that if the play I chose (before reading responses) is different than those of the responders. (Obviously Neil at least had something else in mind as a serious contender or he wouldn't have posted this.)
My recollection (from long ago) is that at this score, the gammon price is about 19/31 which is higher than 'typical' (0.5) but certainly not GG-ish. And of course there is no (extra) penalty for getting G'ed. So anchors aren't as valuable as normal. Blue trails in the race so there is no race lead to protect. I like keeping the back checkers in decent position to both escape (with big doublets) or to hit loose checkers opp leaves in his outfield. Still, I can't decide between two similar plays:
24/22, 23/21 or 24/21, 23/22. :)
