Backgammon website criticism = ugly

In Response To: Backgammon websites = ugly (mtuhtan)

This is one of the worst criticisms I've ever read. I maintained a club website for two different clubs, almost certainly didn't meet your exacting standards, and I couldn't care less. The basic information was there, and in both cases, club attendance markedly shot up as soon as the web page went live, with plenty of people saying that they learned about the club from the web page. That's all that matters. Your criticism is woefully misguided.
