Making the 5-point this turn is out for me -- too dangerous to leave the (double) shot. How about hitting? With already a 40+ pipcount lead, it seems that this helps White out more than Blue. Now that recycled checker can become an additional thorn in Blue's homeboard side. At other scores (cube on White's side) the added gammon wins would likely be worth it, though.

14/11, 8/7 for me. I still have decent chances to make the 5-point safely, later. If not I'll just have to hurdle that obstacle, with a little help from my cubic friends.
