These were my plays as well, before I looked at your post.

As for position 1, while I wouldn't double, I don't think that 25% is the correct takepoint calculation, because I think Blue will drop White's autorecube if Blue misses. If I'm right about that, then this is effectively a last-roll position, and White is not risking as much by doubling as it might seem at first.
