I guess I don't understand this dictum. I do understand the idea of spreading the checkers around to diversify numbers and increase the chance of doing something good like hitting a shot or making a point next roll, but playing off the 15 seems to just make blots to make blots. What's the benefit of leaving blots here vs just playing quietly? Granted, I'd be happy as blue to get into a hitting contest, but I'm not sure that white would go along even if she rolls numbers that hit.

My play was the quiet 7/6 5/3.
