Do you know where A's other 3 checkers are?

If he has 3 checkers left to place then we've been playing illegal bg. From the position as far as Bill described it I'm not sure I wouldn't also make the ace point. This isn't 7 checkers off and a nearly crunched board (though still possible to pick up another checker), this is 7 checkers off and the other 8 way the hell out there for the bear off. I'd need to see the exact position too.
