A New Learning Technique

No they don't. Well to some extend they do, but not at all the same kind of trouble.
When playing 10 or 12 seconds delay, your challenges (when trying to play without using any bank time) are: - Playing doublets. - Considering a double for just a few sec, then deciding to roll. - Counting (unless you teach yourself to count fast during your opponents turn, or keep a running count). - Having to re-roll because of cocked dice!
And the latter is the real problem...
If you play 1 minute left as if it was one second left, you'll be able to fall in all of these problem areas. But most importantly, you'll be able to shake and roll throughly, AND you do not loose the match on a cocked die.
I bet that most matches lost on time actually have this kind of reason to blame for it, rather than someone simply "thinking" his last few seconds away.
