In Response To: Win $100 USD for picking the Final Four and Champion of the 1st Giants of Backgammon Invitational Tournament! (rory)

1) Assuming equal players and a random draw, what are the chances of guessing this correctly?

2) What is the minimum number of random, DIFFERENT contest entries that gives an expectation of > 50% that Rory will have to pay?

3) What is the minimum number of random, BUT NOT NECESSARILY DIFFERENT contest entries that gives an expectation of > 50% that Rory will have to pay?

If you want to guess at these, that's fine, but if you actually do calculations, please at least outline what you did to arrive at your answer(s).
