OTB I knew that the TP is higher than for money and my TP on a recube, if that happens is higher than for money. Looking a roll ahead AtS if I don't roll an ace and Justin doesn't roll one of his 5 useful doubles, I lose my market by a lot (1.25 pass or so) so I just couldn't hold back on cubing.
As for skill factor, maybe I shouldn't cube Justin here, but he was playing very well whereas I didn't feel quite on my game and had messed a couple things up early on trying to complicate. As a result I think I played the finals better than I played this match. Had I felt Justin was playing poorly I'd not have risked this cube, since I not expect him to consider passing for very long.
I'd not have recubed with TP's like money although I felt that was quite close. However, the decision for money is an extremely close and this is a nice ref pos.
