Problem 1. I hit two to cater to my homeboard advantage. 13/7*, 6/1*

Problem 2. I see a priming GP and an attacking GP. Although I tend towards attacking a single checker (and priming more than one), Here that option looks inefficient. 5(2), 1*(2) leaves the near-useless 10-point whereas 11(2), 8(2) makes a broken prime with the hole blocked nicely 6-distant (i.e. the 11-point guards the open 5-point). I'm a sucker for efficiency. 10/8(2), 13/11(2)

Problem 3. With a decent race advantage (and positional disadvantage) I can't see hitting. There is the 'safe' play of 8(2) and the Pottle Rule play of 24/13. If the blot on the 14-point is missed it's a decent builder for the outfield next throw. Besides, I don't think Sam would let me forget it if I go against him and he's actually right. 24/13

Problem 4. I don't like giving up the 6-point and I don't like leaving a double shot, so it's either 8/2 or clearing the midpoint. Typically with a huge race lead, getting hit isn't so bad (OK, it's not good, either) since you can lose ground in the race and still be ahead there. This certainly isn't a classic FRAM position but 8/2 looks so nauseating that I'm going to pay now. 13/9, 13/11

Problem 5. The first non-$-like score of this set, but probably not a big effect. This looks like an easy take for White, but Blue has a lot of time to roll the game winning doublets. Even 1-1 and 2-2 are pretty decent rolls. D+T
