read a good book...

In Response To: Fizzle (Jason Lee)

About a year ago I asked for suggestions of non-backgammon books that help for backgammon. (I just used the search engine here and can't find the thread...; someone better than I who might want to find it -- I'd be grateful.)

Someone (I want to give credit but, as I said, I can't find the thread) recommended The Art of Learning by Josh Waitzkin, best known as the kid in the true story Searching for Bobby Fischer. I just started reading it so I can't give a recommendation/review myself, but I'm going to be pretty disappointed (as well as very surprised) if that doesn't help me. Maybe you, too.
