I am trying to reconcile what Richard wrote "As I understood it, you cannot simply buy your way in. You must actually earn your way in through qualifiers, major events, or other such achievements."

and what Stick wrote in the original post in this thread: "G. Players may enter the U.S. Playoffs directly by contributing $160."
