I don't think there's any easy rule of thumb in these sorts of positions.
At DMP it pretty much comes down to the question of which play will be most likely to give you a shot. Your shot is probably going to come when White is forced to clear the midpoint, and making the bar point gives you a better chance at having a direct shot when that happens. So at DMP I think making the bar point is clear, and should still be clear with minor variations of the position.
Of course, you didn't pose this at DMP; you posed it for money. This means you have to factor in your vulnerability to being attacked. It's much harder to hit if you're stuck on the bar, and you also have to worry about being gammoned. Balancing the extra shot vig against the extra risk is difficult. However, I think that these are the main considerations in this position. For example, I think your racing vig (without getting a shot) can be pretty much ignored since you're so far behind in the pip count.
