Is your money also always on Tiger like it used to be?

Federer is not done yet, while Tiger may be.
I think you could just as easily flip flop the two names. Do I think Federer is done? (I haven't even seen today's result; was it rained out?) I have no clue. Do I think Woods is done. No way in hell.
When you consider Woods's strengths, I think it has boiled down to two things: his overall level of play (in all areas) and his mental toughness. I don't think he's the best driver, putter, scrambler, etc. in the game and probably has never been. But it's hard to find an area where he is weak, and that is huge. But even that pales in comparison to the mental side of his game.
Tom Watson just won the Senior PGA Championship at age 61. Two years ago he came within a hole of winning the (British) Open Championship against the full field of best players in golf. Why? Because of his driving? Because of his iron play? Because of his putting? No, because of his mental makeup.
It looks to me as though another Stanford alum has 25 years of future performance, too, before we write him off.
