BQ... playing against a 42 backgame

This is a 2/4 backgame. Stick like it. And the timing is anbreakable. Second. With hail mary white can hit in the outfield. Because our block isn’t so strong, and white’s front position needs just one move for getting strong, we have to cut down the accidents. Making the bar works in favour for white. This backgame will not crash. The bar has to be cleared during the bear in. A point not made is a point not to be cleared. Coming down to this, it is easy. There is no other six but 12/6. The five is to ponder. I would close a phantom gap with 8/3. This give us outfield control with only one blot, even if white plays in the outfield and we can’t hit, we can wait another move, having only one blot to secure. If we get a shot, this might gain time for the bear in process. At DMP, white should be short playing this for even money. This is also a consideration for playing safe.
