Basic model of "zone"

It would probably be a book worth reading.

I recall, when the bots appeared back in the days, one thing that changed was that blitz-game stocks roared!

I think the blitz was one of the most underestimated strategies, and bots learned us to look for more prime to blitz conversion, earlier than we usually did.

Anyway, Nack, you've shown a lot of how the number of checkers in the zone affect equity (through blitz potential). But apart from that number, I guess that number of points made and number of opponent checkers in the air (or in the target zone) would affect the blitz potential?

I guess it's easier to make a blitz successful, if you can keep your opponent dancing rather than coming in and being attacked again. So 11 checkers in the zone and 4 points made, could be stronger than 12 checkers in the zone, and 2 or 3 points made?

Also if the opponent has more checkers in play (in your target zone) he's more or less likely to come down from the bar and either escape or anchor up.

Nack do you have any thoughts on these "adjustments"?
