Blue's EPC of 36.1 is a fraction worse than a 5 roll position - 5*7+1 = 36. The PLT is 36.1-5/7, rounding down = 4+36.1, 40.1-38.3; PLT 1.8 indicating RD/T. Given the location of the cube, this is a D/T.
Note the EPC diff, 2.2
In a follow-up article to "The Ultimate Pip Count" (Kit Woolsey), Jean Luc Seret article: "count your Pipples" estimates a "Gap" is 3 times worse than a single checker on any given point.
The keith Count adjusted pip counts in the above position are 27-31 but note blue has 5 single checkers on the 6,5,4,2,1. In white's case, a gap on the 4 and 5 carry penalties of 1 pip each. That being the case, a single checker would be worth 0.3*5, 1.5 pips; readjusting the pip counts to 28.5-31 where, the diff is 2.5; not bad huh!
It's my belief that the value of a single checker increases with each made point.
Oh! BTW, the Metric Formula estimates 76.8%
