I do not like the idea of seeding because it will make it much more difficult for the less then prime players to win the open. Yes, the inverse is true too (best players win more) but I do not believe that this would help the game overall as less players could afford multiple tournaments every year, players would have even less incentive to move up to the open bracket, and I think less of the weaker open players would enjoy the tournament because they would be so likely to face a player that knocks them out so quickly. I also think seeding would be a horrendous idea in the non open divisions.
