A bookmaker sets odds to maximize his own winnings, it is not necessarily a reflection of reality, only a reflection of the price the customers are willing to pay to back their horse. I am not sure if incorporating betting odds into sports commentating is the way to go, however it is certainly interesting for me to note the odds so thanks for posting them.
