I have not analyzed the data thoroughly, but my gut instinct tells me that the best use of the AWB would be leading off, since you get the .143 increase in winning chances 100% of the time. I feel the best use of the SP is when the other team gets a man on base. Since each batter is roughly a 2 to 1 underdog to get on base, I would save my SP for when there was a ether a man on base or two outs.
