To make it more precise OTB you can use the following shortcut:

Win% = -0.00262301 x^4 + 0.0156498 x^3 + 0.739699 x^2 + 0.13536 + 2.75093

- where x is the number of checkers off, and Win% is the winning chances of the closed out player.

Unfortunately it does not work for x=13, so you should memorize that value.
