And, one important thing: the pidgeons are gone. Even the pidgeons can see through the bots, when they are overmatched. In the good old days, it was easy to say, i am contaminated, i don't have a strong arm. Even when you more loose, you could say, i play fine, but i am naturally disabled, and when i win beside this, it counts so much more. The pre bot aera was good for the masochists. But the bot aera dismantled them as what they were: pidgeons. And nowadays, playing with work a reasonable backgammon with a PR of 5-6, you are only a premium pidgeon.
