I don't mean this to sound as my sarcastic self but what's play B? We certainly aren't going to give up the midpoint and lose control of all the outfield so all the 13/9(3) plays are out. If we're going to make one inner board point, 8/4(2), we're just as good making another rather than leaving two less shots with 8/4(3) 13/9 since making two points leaves a much better distribution, has a 4pt board instead of a 3pt board, and leaves 3 available spares/builders to make the bar point. (the other play leaves 3 builders but some of those numbers would leave a shot on the midpoint if used to make the bar point) The totally safe play of 10/6 8/4(3) leaves us a stiff position, one of those positions where you have to do what the dice tell you to do. You no longer have any options how to play out the game and this is never a good thing.

I don't know what you played but I think I covered all the candidates I looked at. As always, when in doubt make the dmp play. The reason for that is often the gammons won/lost when considering two or more choices often offset and that makes the play that wins the most the clear winner. Also, if you have a play that does win clearly more than the other plays winning a game is worth twice as much as your gammons so the other play has a big hurdle to overcome. The question is what's your dmp play here?
