The one time I remember coming back from 10-0 to win an 11 pt match was in the first round of an ABT event maybe 3-4 years ago. The opponent was so disgusted he went home instead of staying to play in the consolation and last chance!

Thanks for a new definition of "poor loser".

(I suspect I've told this story before...) One Labor Day tourney (Swiss Qualifying) my opponent told me after our match "you made me feel so bad I'm withdrawing from the tournament and watching NFL football in my room instead." And he did. I don't remember if my win put him into the consolation (3 losses) but it did not put him out of the tournament. BTW, he is from California. Was your opp from there, too? (Same person, possibly...)
