Interesting.

With the gammon race close my preference is to take the man off, and run the added risk of having a 2nd man sent back after a hit. In a close race a man off is worth nearly 10% GWC, and ATS the gammonvalue is higher than for money. Also many of the entering numbers after a hit either jump (34,35,36,25,26,16) or safety two of the blots (32,31,22,21,11), so I guess the gammons weigh up for the added losses and some.

Between the blot saving plays I would rate 6/1 3/2 best, saving both blots for now chancing that I might blot later when it is more dangerous; rather than trying to saving them all onto the ace with 6/1 2/1 hoping to get the last one stacked onto the ace before White improves.
