I play 3/0.

I likely save myself a roll in the bearoff, I retard white's entry, and if I do get a checker hit in the next roll or two I have limited trouble getting the checker back around before white gets all his checkers in.

With my play I'm very possibly off in 6 additional rolls (as I have an odd number of checkers and have one free miss). With the safe clearance of the five point, one is likely off in 7 additional rolls (you have an even number -- 12 -- of checkers but will lose a roll with any 1 or 2 in the next several rolls) plus white gets in faster.
