I find this very interesting, I just thought I didn't have much to add to your initial posting. Thanks for sharing!

If you feel like telling, I would also like to hear more about how you derived the formula. For starters, did I understand it correctly that the input data for your model are just 1-ply and 2-ply results (with the settings corresponding to the first two lines of your table)? How could you extract information about the influence of the VR setting then - it seems it would have been constant (2-ply) for all the input data?
