With the 3-point instead of the 4-point, not anchoring becomes even clearer (the race has become worse). So slot and pick a 3. On my own I'd play 10/7 5/4, but if my partner has a preference for 8/4, 11/8 5/4, or 13/10 5/4 that is fine. I'd concentrate here on not making the anchor.

In terms of time management, what are the clock settings? 2 mins per point and 12 seconds? Than with this play, I'd spent 30 seconds.

Psychological effects of not anchoring and being blitzed? None, if there are any, I'd look for another partner. Can't have immediate results having an impact on the partnership chemistry.
