BG math question

I'm hoping someone can provide a simple, general solution to this problem. There may be more originating examples (probably are) but here is one that seems to come up frequently enough:

You have one checker on the bar and can enter with any of the single dice in set A. Your opponent has left you a direct shot elsewhere on the board and you can hit it with any of the single dice in set B. How often do you simultaneously enter and hit?
