I don't believe you can use XG on a Mac with Wine, which was discussed previously and confirmed on BGO by Xavier quite a while back. You can see this thread: http://www.bgonline.org/forums/webbbs_config.pl?noframes;read=99619

Regarding SHG, it is true you can install it using the Wine emulator, and you can enter lobbies, however you may learn that once you join a table it will crash miserably. SHG is apparently working on a native Mac client.
