Croatian Backgammon Tour international backgammon tournament "4th Dubrovnik Backgammon Open 2013" 18-19 May 2013 - Hotel Croatia - Cavtat , Dubrovnik, Croatia

In the year Croatia enters as a full member of the European Union, Backgammon club Dubrovnik presents its 4th edition of Dubrovnik Backgammon Open.

I have the great pleasure to invite our backgammon friends, clubs and players to join us in sunny Dubrovnik for two days of backgammon fun, low prices, possibilty of swimming in warm sea and calm area ideal for relaxing.

Croatian backgammon federation and its clubs began to play in 2009. As a young federation, we were proud to send two representatives to the European Backgammon Tour Grand Finale and to the European Championships.

This tournament will offer opportunity for all kind of backgammon players - young and old, domestic and foreigner, recreational and competitive.

Tournament format: Dubrovnik Open Entry fee: 50 € Main tournament: 11 pt Progressive Consolation: 9 pt Progressive Last Chance: 5 pt & 7 pt

Dubrovnik Masters Entry fee: 220 € (90% return) Match lengths: 11 pt , semifinals 13 pt, final 15 pt, single elimination

It is possible to play both events. Events are clock preferance (2min/pt+12 sec Bronstein delay). Please Bring Your Own Board (BYOB) CBGF Registration 100 kuna
