Do I need to address my timing problem now with this 62?

I like Timothy's analysis of this. My inclination was to just clear the 8 point despite the awkwardness of where the checkers land, but he has convinced me that 8/2 3/1 is better, since the danger of being hit on the 8 point is not that great, and if it's missed, we have "saved a 6".
