As some have mentioned already, Blue may have good winning chances when he runs out to the 12pt. As White, however, I would love to see my opponent run. I would be the race leader, possessing the better board, and I could race or attack as the dice dictated. Running takes all the pressure off White.

Over the board, I would fret for awhile, and then choose between N (Near) = 13/7 6/1 and J (Jump) = 8/3 8/2. O (Outer) = 13/2 might be right, but it’s a bit too stacky for me.

Tough problem.
