Blue’s priming game will be significantly hampered by the two dead checkers on his 1pt. Meanwhile, White’s priming game is showing real promise.

While his is the better board, I think Blue must attempt to secure a better anchor or escape.

W (Wild) = bar/20 8/5

Note the duplication of White’s 3. Two down is another possibility I considered.
