Blue is Player 1XGID=-aBBcBCBA---aa-b-babbAB---:0:0:1:22:0:0:1:0:10 Blue to play 22 Petter: If you play 3/1*(2), how many numbers hit a blot on the 7-point or a blot on the 8-point?
Aha! A blot on the 7pt can only be hit by 33 and 43, while one on the 8pt is vulnerable to 34, 35, and 44. That being the case, I think the better play is to leave the fly shot on the 7pt.
A (Attack) = 8/6, 7/5, 3/1*(2)
Being lazy, as I am, I thought the duplication of 4 would do the trick for me. Duplication will work, but it is the more subtle duplication of 43 that make a blot on the 7pt safer than one on the 8pt.
