He gets the ace but since he is on the bar he cannot play it.

A few other things to note.

i) giving aces can be very annoying in races ii)hard to develop 6 point, think should slot with 52 or 32 iii) making ace point early is often good for side giving aces iv) blitzing strategy is one where giving up aces does not hurt as much. v) splitting is more dangerous than usual when his blitzes will be stronger with virtual ace point being made vi) I think the main game plans are looking to blitz and playing ace point game as a fall back plan. If get lucky with 66 or 44 or 65 then look to race. Note that giving aces can help timing in anchor games. vii) The getting aces side makes primes pretty easily. Just wait for a free ace and slot.
