OT: Did you know Riggs tanked his match against BJK?

In case it didn't come across in my first post, I don't think the fix was in. But has anyone considered the possibility that Riggs thought he would lose anyway, and saw an opportunity to squeeze some more juice from that distressing situation? It's not as though he could duck out of playing the match, after all the mouthing off he'd done about women's tennis, and women in general for that matter. It would be quintessential, or maybe even sex-essential, Riggs to arrange to profit from his defeat with a deal as described!
