I don't understand why you think the cube is distorting the score, effectively cutting the lead in half.

Let's not forget the leader used the cube to gain the lead. Seems only fair that the trailer can use the cube to try to catch up. Otherwise we will end up in a situation where it requires many more games to catch up than it required to build the lead.

I like the current rules.
