Trying again, taking Bob's correction into consideration
- Double/Drop
- Doubler's equity is obviously +2 (1 point each cube)
- No double
- Again obvious, same as cubeless, 29 ways to win, 22/36 * 2 = +1.22
- Double/Take/Opt. take
- A 4, 5 or 6 leaves the doubler gin, and the taker with an obvious 2nd cube drop, contributing 3/6 * 3 = +1.5 to the doubler's equity.
An ace leaves the doubler even money to get off - the taker has an obvious take - and the variation is a wash, contributing +0 equity.
After a 2 or 3, the doubler needs to roll a 4, 5, 6, or a matching number to get off or he loses. He is 4/6 to do so, so the taker still has a take on the 2nd cube. The variation contributes 2/6 * 2/6 * 4 = 0.44
Total equity: +1.94Thus the correct action now seems to be Double/Close take
