I would never try to stop anyone who simply feels the time for backgammon has come and gone in their life, and they want to move on. It's happened with several players I liked a lot, and also with some of my students. But I am going to agree with you Ed that I will miss Falafel. His expertise, fun and informative commentary, and sense of humor will be missed by many more than just the people who post here at BGO.

Falafel, I know you will be reading this --> I hope you won't disappear for good from BG. If you don't want to play, stop by a tourney sometimes anyway and be a distinguished visitor and maybe guest commentator. You'll always be welcome in BG-land, because it has been your home for so long.
