Hogwash? Really? No. Far from it. Put it this way, by not adding an extra to the ace, how much extra are you gaining by putting it on the 2pt? Can you quantify that? I did. Bob did. Jason also considers it to be a point of value. The equity difference is small - no getting past that.

I think this is more a position that is representative of looking beyond the current position, and making future based decisions, as well as a minor lesson in bearoff theory, about managing your structure, and preparing for situations that may or may not come up.

Thats just what I think - take it or leave it, but calling it hogwash seems unnecessary to me.
