43Z-63H-21 — Nactation Key
FamilyNactationTraditional NotationNote
Slot$ bar/23, 6/5 Slotting the 5pt beats slotting the 4pt.
Alternate slot% bar/24, 6/4 For $ and %, the non-slotting portion of a roll is usually played down to a destination in one's outer board. Entering from the bar is also allowed.
Anchor@ bar/23, 24/23
Four4 bar/24, 6/4 Numerals always imply assumptive Nactation, but the Nactations of 4 and 5 are easy in this position.
Five5 bar/23, 6/5 Move in the 5 family move to either the 5pt or 15pt. There are no rules describing the rest of the play. Assume a “good” play was made, and figure out the rest.
EachE bar/23, 6/5 E is for plays that move one checker on the far side of the board and the other in the inner board.
Eache bar/24, 6/4 A blot on the 5pt is closer to the 6pt than one on the 4pt.
SplitS bar/24, 13/11 Under the Convenience Clause, when the S family is empty, either S or Z can be used for plays in the Z family.
UpU bar/22 Under the More Points Convention, niether the 23pr nor 24pt are counted as made points.
Variant upV bar/23, 24/23 Two spares on the 23pt ranks below blots destinations on the 23pt and 22pt (which is what bar/22 has).
WildW bar/23, 6/5 W is for blotty plays that typically leave a blot in both inner boards (or on the bar point).
Wildw bar/23, 8/7
Reverse splitZ bar/24, 13/11 Under the Convenience Clause, when the S family is empty, either S or Z can be used for plays in the Z family.

The Nactations above follow guidelines in the new edition of the Nactation Tutorial. Frankly, this list is too long. The only ones used in Miran’s rollout were W, S, e, @, and U. The others are presented only because they were discussed in this thread back in 2011.
