How it could/should have been worded

In Response To: Legal Moves poll on ChicagoPoint.com (rory)

Which of the following rules do you prefer:

A. The way the ABT has done it for years which allows players to see if they can get away with an illegal move and cheat you by doing so; by requiring you to wait until your opponent picks up the dice in order for you to claim he did not move legally and then you can argue about what was actually rolled; by allowing your opponent to lose the match because he forgot that he had a checker on the bar; by allowing you to win the match because your opponent accidentally put his own checker on the bar instead of in the bearoff try; by allowing your opponent to lose his turn because he hit the clock and didn't realize that your board opened up and he could now roll the dice. In other words, would you like to keep playing the way that has caused problems, arguments, and ethical dilemmas for many years, or

B. By requiring that all moves be made legally so that the above problems would not occur and the game would be played in a nicer, more gentlemanly fashion, and in a manner where the match can be analyzed properly in XG so you can get a true reading of each player's skill given the dice that were rolled.

Or it could be worded:

Would you prefer to

A. Play by the rules Bill Davis and a very few others prefer, or

B. Play by the rules that a huge majority of players all over the world prefer and which have been adopted by tournament directors and Federations all over the world and which have become the overwhelmingly accepted and adopted rules of the game by just about everyone in the world, including people who play in Bill's tournaments and at Bill's club as they are forced to make a private agreement to play Legal Moves because they want to have a fairer, friendlier, and more trouble-free match?
