A 51 I would play 13/7. Leaves one shot with maximum builders and flexibility.

A 62 I'd play 13/7 8/6. Same principle.

Leaving one shot with 21 (13/12 8/6) risks too much for too little. If I was willing to take that risk for so little I'd do Casper's move, risking a bit more but at least gaining more. But I am a man of principles and I still maintain that we want to leave no shots and I absolutely will not budge from that position.
