I know from rollouts that after an opening 43 is played down (13/10 13/9), slotting is correct when you roll 21, 41, or 51 in reply. I would like to know whether the Primes think that slotting an ace here is weaker or stronger than it is in those replies.

This is the same line of reasoning I used. I think it should be pretty clear that if we make the bar point with the six, then slotting becomes even stronger as we slot the fourth point in a prime.

My second choice was 24/18 8/7 but I discarded it due to the poor distribution of spares in the resulting position.

24/23 13/7 is too passive and thematically wrong -- we give Poo's complete freedom to use most of their rolls to make a good home board point.

So, 13/7 6/5 is the best move by far.
