I bet that maybe you never saw the anchor play cos your reflex was the hit. You don’t win a BG game if your runners are tardy. Every position has a value . An anchor has a high value a higher anchor has a higher value. Blue is always going to be free to run. Flip between the two plays you have 18 rolls (rough guess) to make the 7 or 5 point with the anchor play and it looks pretty lol. That was a joker roll. Always but always look for three candidates no matter what your first inclination was. Play slow win fast. A fine example to prove the hit is not always the best play.
