If the weaker player recubes now, he probably won't make any more serious cube errors in the match. If the underdog recubes and wins this game, there will be no doubling in the Crawford game. Post Crawford decisions for the leader are also pretty easy - do you use your free drop or do you have an auto take?
If the redoubler loses this game, he needs to win the Crawford game and then double at his first opportunity thereafter.
These cube decisions are a lot easier than at 5a-3a or 3a-5a.
