With a small racing lead, Blue should be less eager to risk slotting than when he trails. On the other hand, slotting does nicely duplicate 2s while unstacking the 6pt. After the slot, Blue may have a good 6 to play from the 11pt regardless of whether he is hit or not.

I am uncertain here, but my instinct is not to slot. My choice is Z (Reverse split) = 21/20 13/8.
